San Jose Sting

Great job by Sting teams this past weekend during the first opportunity to qualify for Nationals. Coach Gordy Esquibel (12U) will be taking his team to Montgomery, Alabama for the 12U Nationals after finishing second at Twin Creeks. Coach Debi Smith(16U) went undefeated, dominating the 16U bracket to qualify for Nationals in Ownesboro, Kentucky. All other Sting teams made strong runs during the first weekend of qualifying but just came up short. Special congratulations goes out to Coach Frank Fano of the 18Gold-Fano who had some huge wins and made it all the way through Sunday afternoon, just one game short of the Qualifying game.
